We do everything in our power to help our guests have the kind of holiday that keeps them returning year after year. Winter Seasonal Interviews - If you are shortlisted for one of our indoor or outdoor positions, you will be asked to attend a face-to-face interview either in Adelaide SA, Melbourne VIC or Wodonga VIC. 


If you’re a budding new Snowsports Instructor, you will be required to attend a skills training clinic and interview on snow at Falls Creek at the end of May.


For key positions such as Groomers, Snowmakers and Supervisors you may be asked to take part in an alternate interview.


Interview details will be provided to each individual at the time of selection.


Permanent Position Interviews – Successful applicants will be contacted to arrange interviews.

  • Returning staff receive loyalty vouchers, free one day lift passes that can be given to family or friends. 


All staff will be required to wear a uniform. Uniforms are appropriate to the conditions and provide protection against the elements where applicable. Outdoor uniforms and indoor uniforms are on loan for the season. These items require the payment of a $210 bond.

Certain uniform items can be purchased and will differ depending on the department you work in. These are yours to keep and have been subsidised by Falls Creek Ski Lifts.

As a convenience for our staff any uniform purchases and bonds can be deducted from weekly wages.


Falls Creek does have some subsidised staff accommodation available on mountain. Please note we are not able to offer accommodation to all employees. We encourage everyone to try and source their own accommodation and to compare prices.

Employees living in our subsidised staff accommodation will be required to pay a $280 bond up front to secure a bed after which, accommodation expenses can be deducted from weekly wages. You will be required to pay rent even if your work hours are limited, so keep this in mind while budgeting.
